2004 Award

The FIRST International Award for Responsible Capitalism 2004 was presented to Morris Tabaksblat KBE, Chairman of Reed Elsevier.

A special award for the SME sector was presented to Arthur Allen MBE and Irene Allen MBE, founders of Listawood.

The Awards were presented by the Rt Hon Lord Woolf, The Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales.

A special award for philanthropy was presented to Jaime Zobel de Ayala, Chairman of Ayala Group at a separate ceremony held the following year at the Ritz Hotel. This award was presented by the Rt Hon Lord Howe of Aberavon CH QC.
